DA HENRIETTA - FARINATA PANCAKE BAG £15
To celebrate Pancake day, we put together a fantastic bag with all the ingredients to recreate our classic Farinata at home.
Farinata is a typical chickpeas flour pancake from Liguria, Northwest of Italy. Traditionally it is made simply with chickpeas flour mixed oil, water and salt to get a very loose batter. It is baked a few minutes in a wood fired oven before being dressed with more salt, pepper and rosemary. It is cut in irregular shapes and sold as a quick snack.
Our version is a bit richer with the addition of milk and parmesan but nevertheless simple and authentic. It has been by far and large our most popular dish here at Da Henrietta and we hope you will be able to enjoy it here at the restaurant with us soon.
