‘A Supper in Red’
Antipasto
Warm beetroot soup with mint and soured cream.
Home-made pate with onion marmalade and balsamic vinegar reduction.
Veggie option: grilled vegetables in olive oil and balsamic vinegar reduction.
Paired Wine: It won't be a wine but a red surprising cocktail.
Primo
Red wine risotto cake on parmesan fondue.
Paired wine: an organic, ruby red, full bodied Sangiovese DOC 2004 from Maremma (Southern Tuscany).
Secondo
Veal involtini with parma ham and cheese, onion mini souffle and bloody orange and cognac jelly.
Veggie option: Sicilian style aubergine skewers with sultana and pine nuts + onion mini souffle and bloody orange and cognac jelly.
Paired wine: you can carry on with the Sangiovese or try a Dolcetto D'Alba DOCG 2009 from Piedmont which is younger, fresher and fruitier.
Dessert
Roasted apple with sassello amaretto and zabaione.
Paired Wine: surprise!!!!
Places: 30 only.

Dress code: at the very least one red accessory please, prize will be given to the best red outfit!!!
